The attack occurred at about 4:30 p.m. after the victim had visited the 7-Eleven at 5000 Frankford Ave. to withdraw money from an ATM and buy cigarettes. The mugger followed the victim as he exited the store and walked to the 5000 block of Darrah St. That’s where the crook knocked the victim to the ground and stole his stuff. The mugger fled the area with another unknown man.

The robber was described as black, 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He had a long, thin beard and wore a navy blue knit hat, a navy blue hoodie with “Nike” printed on the left side and navy blue sweatpants.
